Meet Our Staff
Barbara is happily married with 3 children and a wonderful grandson. She began her career in dentistry in 1984 as a Registered Dental Assistant, and has loved working with her patients ever since. Barbara loves being outside and hanging out with her family and friends. When she wants an escape, the beach is her favorite place to go and just relax and read a book.
Sandra has worked in the dental field for 20 years. She has worked the front office specializing in insurance billing and accounts receivable. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys scrap booking and anything having to do with crafts. When time allows, she enjoys traveling with her husband.
Melissa is a key member of the Nash Dental Care team. She has 25 years of experience in the dental field and when not at work she is a very busy Mom. She enjoys yard work and watching her daughters play sports.
Heather has 10 yrs of being in the Dental Field. She is a mother of 2 girls 1 boy. In her free time, she enjoys being a full time mom with her kids, and loves to be around great friends and family.
Maritza is the 6th child out of 9 and loves special moments with her family. She has worked in the dental field since 2009 with amazing doctors and staff, past and present, who have taught her confidence, care, and great ethics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to concerts, enjoying music, traveling, and watching her favorite sports teams play (The Lakers and Oakland Raiders).
Maritza joined Nash Dental Care 2016 and loves working with 2 amazing doctors: Dr. Nash and Dr. Sewell, who hold the standard for great dental care and treat patients like family. She also loves working with such great teammates and staff, who help her to learn and grow every single day.
Nelia began working at Nash Dental Care in 2009 as one of Dr. Nash’s main assistants. In 2012, she decided to pursue a career as a dental hygienist. Her many years of experience make her a magnificent addition to the dental community.
The intimate nature of dental care requires one to be able to treat the oral condition based on the specific needs of the person. Nelia excels at this as she has the ability to quickly adapt to clinical and non-clinical situations. She takes great pride in her work and loves what she does. Nelia enjoys spending quality time with husband Wendell and 2 kids. During her free time, she loves to cook, scrapbook, and work in her beautiful garden.
Caroline started her dental career in 2012 when she graduated from Loma Linda University with a B.S in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys serving others in the office and though various dental mission trips both local and international. Caroline also enjoys coaching gymnastics, doing Crossfit, traveling and spending time with family. She joined the Nash Dental Care team in 2016 and has enjoyed expanding her knowledge in dentistry and working with the Doctors and the rest of the staff.
Afton has been in the dental field for the last fifteen years and loves it. She Graduated from Mohave Community College in 2008 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is happily married with four beautiful little girls and moved from the sun shine state of Arizona to the beautiful state of California to be close to family. She really enjoys spending quality time with her husband and kids as well as going on fun vacations, playing sports, watching a good movie, and card games.
Jenny, Front Office Financial Coordinator
Jenny has been in the dental field for 17 years. Her goal is to make patients feel welcome and comfortable during their visit. She makes sure patients understand their dental treatment and financial options. She loves working with our patients to help them achieve their dental goals. Jenny is married with three wonderful boys. In her free time she enjoys family time, home decorating, and gardening.
Bernadette, Registered Dental Assistant
In January 2017, Nash Dental Care became her second family and she is proud to be given the opportunity to work with excellent doctors like Dr. Sewell and Dr. Nash. She took dental assisting courses and graduated from San Diego Mesa College in 1996. Her dental career started in the mid 90’s and she can honestly say that the profession interests her today as much as it did back then. She is an experienced worker, having worked with many specialists in the dental community. At home, she is a very devoted mother to her two children and her dog, whom she cherish’s and is very blessed to have in her life. Along with spending quality time with her children, she enjoys gardening and cooking. It is both her aspiration and great responsibility that she put forth great effort into her career, as well as to provide everything that she is able to for her son and daughter. At Nash Dental Care, she takes her job very seriously and with great care in order to deliver optimal outcomes and assure comfort ability for her patients.
Lea, Registered Dental Assistant
Lea has always been fascinated with dentistry from a young age. Going to the dentist was always a positive experience for her. It prompted her to pursue a dental assisting program at Kaplan College in 2011. In 2012, she graduated Suma Cum Laude and got her first job as an RDA. She has 6 years experience as a dental assistant and is always hoping to learn and expand her skills. Working along side two very skilled and compassionate dentists who treat their patients and staff with the utmost respect is what makes her job feel like a second home. Helping her patients’ dental experience go as smooth as possible is what brings her joy in the workplace. On her off-time she loves to be with her son Gavin. Spending time with him and her family is what life is all about.
Melissa, Registered Dental Hygenist
Melissa became a Dental Hygienist upon graduation from The University of Southern California in 1998. Melissa and her family are avid USC Trojan fans! Melissa cherishes her husband and two children. She loves spending time with her family desert camping, river trips, playing soccer and baseball. She joined the Nash Dental Team in 2018 as she and her family recently moved to the Temecula area. Melissa enjoys providing gentle, but thorough, high quality hygiene visits. Most important, using her skills in education to teach patients how to maintain healthy gums and teeth for a life time.
